Dear parishioners, this weekend we are celebrating Masses of Harvest Thanksgiving.
I hope the new format of the newsletter will allow the text to be larger and to include some photos and other information on a weekly basis. Feedback/observations welcome by letter / email.
Care of Sick and Retired Priests Acting on the advice of the Diocesan Finance Committee, Bishop Deenihan has directed that a second collection for the care of sick and retired priests will be taken up in every parish. The collection will be exclusively used to support priests who have given many years of faithful service to the diocese of Meath. In retirement or due to illness, they now rely on the support of the diocese.
We will take this collection next weekend 10-11 October.
This weekend, we thank all who have a Safeguarding role in our parish. Visit www.meathsafeguarding.ie for the latest newsletter.
Blessings to you all!
